LOL! Hope this comment is not offensive, but this quote made me remember this story.
I heard tell several years ago that there was a preacher speaking at a youth convention here in the states. He was passionate and on fire and the youth were getting excited at what he had to say. That is until he shouted out these words…
“I want you all to be flaming faggots for God!”
Now he was using this as an analogy, but was shocked when the room went silent and the young people were either really confused or ready to burst out laughing.
It turns out that in England a “faggot” is a bundle of sticks. He simply wanted the young people to be on fire for God like a bundle of sticks on fire.
