Aunt Kristin: “You girls are really good at setting the table.”
Indigo: “We get a lot of practice!”

Greyden (singing): “I need a gyro. I’m holding out for a gyro that will fill me all night.”

Greyden: “When we were at McDonald’s, the smell made me nauseous. This goat farm smells so much better.”

Jade: “I really hope that file will work.”
Brett: “I don’t think it will. It would be like trying to open a spreadsheet in Word.”
Jade: “Ohhhhh.”
*pause*
Jade: “You’re right… that wouldn’t work.”

Fletcher: “Thanks, Mom, for making me eat foods that I thought were disgusting when I was younger. I like so many foods now. Could you imagine if all I ever wanted to eat was cheeseburgers?”

PJ: “We have a really kick butt garden this year.”
Jim: “Yes, the garden has been kicking my butt all morning.”

Colter: “I think I’m the only one wearing orange.”
Greyden: “I wore black and tan because with black and tan you can’t go wrong.”

Fletcher (joking): “How long is this movie? Six hours?”
Greyden: “No. Nothing is six hours except Pride and Prejudice.”

Jim: “Why are you sad?”
Indigo: “I don’t want to do this.”
Jim: “Would it help if I tickled you?”
Indigo: ” It would help if you tickled Jade.”

Hewitt: “You know what I wanna do when I grow up?”
Alex: “What?”
Hewitt: “I wanna be rich so I can help orphanages and world three countries.”
Alex: “You mean third world countries?”
Hewitt: “Yeah those.”

PJ: “So how was everyone’s day?”
Hewitt (with a sigh): “It ain’t over yet.”

Jim: “If you’re not on top of your game, somebody else is… And you’re just getting played.”

Jade (wearing Hewitt’s old shorts): “Can I wear these shorts? These are my most comfortablest shorts ever!”

Jade (speaking to one of her brothers): “NO THEY ARE NOT! Do you see my booty? If they were ‘booty shorts’ you would see my booty!”

Greyden: “It makes me happy to walk through the garden and pick stuff for my morning smoothie.”
