How to Recycle Paper

Because we have a business, we’re very careful with our paperwork.  We don’t store customer credit card information or share it with anyone.  If we don’t need to keep paperwork for our records, Jade is in charge of shredding it.

So what do we do with all the paper shreds?  We put them in the chicken coop for the chickens! They love them and turn them into compost as they scratch around in their coop.

The hardest part is trying to convince the chickens not to take the shreds outside with them!

  3. awe, she is the perfect height for home shredding! It gets tiring bending over to do it…perfect job for the little ones!

    • I don’t know that they love it, but it definitely makes me feel good to recycle it – and save money! 🙂 PJ
