This morning we brought Thor and Baxter to Scottsburg with us.
Although we’ve brought them before, it has always been on a weekend, when there was no active construction. So all the activity was new for them.
Colter, Greyden and Brett took them for a walk around the house construction. We wanted to see how they would react to the noise and activity.
They did great! They were extremely interested in everything that was going on, and didn’t really want to leave. They were curious and alert (and not fearful) which is exactly what we wanted.
They now have a pen at Scottsburg, so they can hang out with us during the day. This is so much better because they were getting really lonely without us all day.
They don’t live with the goats yet, but they spend time with them. Right now we’re still working on strengthening their bond with us. And that is definitely a success!
Are they Great Pyrenees puppies? We have one, Sache, and she is the best dog ever. We got her when she was 10 weeks old and she is now 6 years old and we love her. Your two will protect you and the goats forever!!!!!
Yes they are! We are so happy with them. They’re 6 months old now and they’re huge!! The goats are tolerating them well. Our goat “Ivy” is the one who keeps them in their place. LOL

I cant wait for you guys to be here and open. Thank you for choosing Scottsburg as your home. I hope you like it here, we have a great community and wonderful mayor whom I hope you can get to know!
Thank you so much!! We are so excited about moving. They’re making real progress on the new barn and hopefully the house will follow suit. The mayor seems to be great from what we’ve seen.
Also – the soaproom is open! 🙂
