This past Thursday we had a big day, with a video guy (Paul) coming out to video us. I can’t tell you yet what the video is for, but I will let you know as soon as I am able! For the event, we bought new clothes for everyone (which was not easy – I’m not at all pleased with the clothing choices out there).
We also got new hanging baskets for the front porch. A special thanks to the Charlestown Feed Store for putting them together special for me! Aren’t they beautiful?
We took the opportunity of being all clean and dressed to take some family photos:
Jim isn’t in any of the photos because he hadn’t showered yet. LOL
The children at one point got to sit on the back porch and answer questions:
It was super hot, so I kept bringing them glasses of water. Notice that I have a microphone on. There’s nothing like having a microphone on for watching your words.
Fortunately, this all happened the day before (and not after) Fletcher broke his leg!
Although they’re a lot of work, I’m glad for days like this where I can focus on getting some good family photos. What about you – how often to you get posed family photos?
Awww, cute pictures. I love all the bright colors!!! They all look so sharp in their clothes, but I especially love Brett’s outfit. She looks so feminine and cute…and NO BRACES! Look at that big smile!!!
Yes, it is nice to have special occasions to get some random and/or posed family pictures.
