When my brother was here, he and his family helped us ship all our internet orders and then stopped working for the day and started playing. We went over to Charlestown State Park and the children all got to compete to see what amazing feats of strength they could perform.
The first ones were kind of tame. Indigo, Jade, and Aiden could climb the wall of the playhouse:
Indigo enjoyed that:
But then she decided she could do even better by climbing on top of the playhouse:
Greyden was pretty tame and just did a bunch of swinging. Notice his black eye? Emery gave it to him by wrestling him into the couch arm. We’ll be seeing a lot of that black eye since Greyden was sporting it in our video shoot:
Hewitt was also more relaxed than usual (he won the belly scratching contest):
The boys did get a bit wild on the tire swing (notice Emery went flying):
Colter won top honors with this performance:
Here it is in photos for those of you who can’t watch videos:
Yep, that would be a back flip off the swing. Pretty impressive, huh?
Not to be outdone, Jim decided to do a handstand on the jungle gym:
He wanted to do a pushup, but said the bars were spaced too closely together.
Emery was impressed and wanted to try:
So, of course, Colter and Greyden had to try also:
But none of them were as good as their Dad! (He’s my hero! :D)
looks like you guys had a ton of fun!
I remember when I used to be able to do that…. .yeah…. not so much anymore… lol
Greyden's black eye reminds me of my flower girl at my wedding… she had a black eye…. from rough houseing with her older brother. My makeup gal was able to hide it with make up so you can't even tell on our wedding photo's! Boy's are different though and actually like to show off their battle wounds! hahah
We always have so much fun at the park! If I even suggested putting makeup on, Greyden would throw a fit! LOL
It is awesome your husband is your hero! It should always be that way!
I couldn’t agree more!
