Hewitt is pretty tough for a four year old – not surprising since he has four older brothers. He’s also rather physical. He’s always tackling somebody.
His current pattern is to charge any adult male (he doesn’t do it with the women) straight on – aiming with his head. Of course, if you’re an adult male, you can figure out where the head of a four year old is going to hit.
Jim and I have tried to stop it, but Hewitt just gets so excited to see people that he just charges at them!
Last night we were out at a Harvest party, and Hewitt was playing around with Garry, a friend of ours. Fortunately Garry was wise to Hewitt, and continually prevented a direct attack.
While Hewitt was playing his game, he told Garry, “You’re coming home with us.”
Garry calmly replied, “Where would I sleep?”
Without missing a beat, Hewitt responded, “You’ll sleep with the goats.”
OK – maybe I need to also start working on hospitality with him. He’s such an imp!
LOL, is he mimiking the male goats with the charging? Lucky he does not have horns.. ouch
I think it’s more likely that he’s mimicking his brothers!
Yes – horns would be bad! LOL
