Because I regularly show photos of my children working at Goat Milk Stuff, I’m often asked if they ever have time to play. Of course they do! Even with their school work, barn work, and soap work, they still have more free time than most of their peers.
Some of the children’s favorite things to do are read, ride their bikes, hike, swim, play basketball, play in the snow, and do puzzles. While I take photos of them doing these things, that’s not the focus of my blog or my facebook posts.
I focus my photos on what they do with the business because that is what sets our family apart. Most people have seen children riding a bicycle, reading a book, or playing a game. So no, I don’t post tons of those photos. But that doesn’t mean the children don’t spend lots of time playing.
So, no worries! The Jonas children have plenty of time to play. And here is a random series of photos all taken within the past 14 months showing you how some of that free time was spent.
Yep, I’d say they have plenty of time to play and build awesome family memories!
Your children probably have two hours more to do everything than all the children herded on to buses to spend almost an hour getting to and anhour getting home from school each day! Love the photos! They seem to enjoy life with extra gusto!
Exactly! Not to mention – no homework! PJ
I can tell you all must have stopped in Knoxville at some point. I recognize the playground at World’s Fair Park. Either that or there is a playground somewhere else that looks exactly the same and has the same background 😉
That’s exactly where that fountain is! The water was SOOO cold, but we had so much fun. 🙂 PJ
Nope! That’s the playground! We had so much fun in that fountain even though the water was freezing! PJ
I don’t feel you should have to defend anything any of you do. People need to
get a life instead of always worrying about what someone is doing right or
wrong. I commend your family and all it stands for ! God Bless All of you !
Thanks so much for the support, Jane! It means a lot to us. 🙂 PJ
That’s a lot of kid-fun!
We often say, “We work hard so we can play hard.” It’s a great way to live! PJ
I love big families. I love homeschooling. ( not that I have a big family or homeschool). However, I really admire those who do. We recently went to disney also for the first time. My kids loved the lion king show so much we had to go twice 🙂
Thanks, Nicole! I know, that show is awesome. We always sit in the Lion section. My kids love being able to ROAR! LOL PJ
