A couple of weeks ago, the family went apple picking. When we got there, I took the little girls to the bathroom and Jim sent Colter to find out what kinds of apples were available for picking (fuji apples are our favorite ones to pick).

Colter returned with the news that there were no more apples available for picking. They were only available in the gift shop.

Indigo and Jade burst into tears.

Colter said there were still pumpkins available for picking, but we didn’t want to do that.

As I desperately looked around trying to figure out what to do, inspiration struck.

With a loud, “Follow me!” I started walking…

…right into the ice cream shop!
