We love baby goats at our house. Well, that is probably an understatement. We LOVE our baby goats!

We also like to blog about them! We like to blog about them in the winter, (when we can’t wait to have them) we like to blog about them when they are born (because they are so cute), and we like to blog about them when they are growing up!

Now that all our 2011 babies are born, the boys built them a run that goes from the barn, all the way down to the end of the driveway. It works really well when you are trying to get the lambar in, because all you have to do is get somebody to run all of them down to the fence. Then you can slip in, so that when they come back, you are ready for them.

They love their run, because it has grass. The actual pen is just hay and dirt. In the run, there is plenty of grass for all of them! I tried to get some pictures of them eating, but they just wanted to stare at me:

I love how Valhalla looks. He is the only pure black baby that we have, and he stands out really well!

Are ya gonna pet me? Huh?

What about us?? If you pet him you should pet us too!

Yep. That is what it is like. “You just pet him, now pet me!” “Hey! I have not gotten pet yet!” “Pet me, pet me!”

It gets a little tiring.

One way to distract them, (or keep them off of you) is to run. They love to run. Actually, I think that is an understatement. They live to run. 

Another thing that they like to do is jump. Meet Lil’ Buddy. (Technically his name is Ian. But we call him Little Buddy.) He is a jumping king!

“Yes, I’m jumping! So what? I do it all the time!”

“Can you pet me?” (See what I mean? It never stops!)

“Hey Tree! Come back here!!!” (I had pulled some branches down to tease them with, and then let it go back up. Pegasus wanted to eat it! )

“I’m almost there!”

Sorry Pegasus – I don’t think that you are going to get it!

We love our baby goats! And you know what? I think they love us!
