Today, we’ll be working on our Christmas Letter. 

Some folks do a Christmas Card with just photos – if that’s you, go ahead and start designing it. You just scheduled your photo session yesterday, so you probably don’t have your pictures yet, but you can figure out where you’re going to get them printed and start looking for a template. 

We highly recommend using Vistaprint for your Christmas cards. Their printed stationary is high quality, and much cheaper than Shutterfly or other printing options. Oversized postcards are the perfect size for a Christmas Card, and Vistaprint can automatically mail them for you, which is so much easier than doing it yourself.

If you are doing an actual letter – whether you mail it out, post it online on a blog or on Facebook, or email it to your loved ones, we’re going to write it today. 

I love writing Christmas letters, myself. I love taking a look back at the year and seeing what we’ve accomplished, how we’ve grown, and what has changed. 

If you don’t know how to get started, this article is rather helpful. 

So pull up a word document or grab a notebook, pull out your calendar to glance back at the year, and start writing. You don’t have to complete your Christmas letter today, but get a first draft finished. The goal is to finish this by the end of the week, so you can be prepared when it’s time to send it out during Week 11. (Don’t worry, you’ll be able to change it before then if anything big happens.) 

If you’re stuck, I’ll include a template in the bottom of this page that you can fill in. 🙂

Our family has seen so much exciting change in 2019, and we can’t wait to see what happens in 2020.
