Mom got us the board game Clue for Christmas, and the boys have not stopped playing it since. They get up early and play it. They play it in the afternoon, and they play it in the evening.
It is a lot of fun when the oldest five play.We have each picked the players that we are, just about each time. I am Scarlet, Cole is Green, Emery is Peacock, Fletcher is either Mustard or White,(he can’t decide which one he wants to be) and Greyden is Plum.
We are still learning how to play correctly though. When we first started, we did not know that if you are taken into a room, b/c someone thinks that you did it, you can pick an Intrigue card (if you want to). When I showed them that in the rule book, they were amazed. They seem to like the risk of getting clock cards, as long as they get a few good Intrigue cards.
And we STILL do not say, “I Think It Was,” instead of, “I Accuse.” I doubt that the boys are ever going to get that. They have played it like 9 times, and they still say “I Accuse, Plum” or whoever they think it was.
I am so glad that Mom got it for us. It is a lot of fun, and I’m sure it will get used a lot this winter. Lets hope that we don’t run out of the papers, ’cause then we would be in REAL trouble!
Oh, and one more thing. Emery wins way too often!
