We’re continuing to grow and run out of space.  We just took over what used to be our “festival room” (where we stored all the stuff we took to set up at festivals). One side of the room is now used for making lotion sticks and lip balms.  The space is great, but it was really dark in there because the loft blocks the light from the workspace.

So tonight Jim added lighting so you can actually see when you’re pouring lotion sticks and lip balms after dark. The other side is where I’ve got all of my bottles of liquid soap ready for scenting.  Hopefully we’re going to start making the liquid soap in there soon.  I’ve got an electrician coming out to talk about getting more electricity out to the soap room, since we’ve maxed out our electricity usage as well!

I’m enjoying the fact that our business is growing, but it definitely has its challenges and growing pains as well.

Jim got peppermint luffas and lavender essential oil soaps made today.  We’re switching over to using sunflower oil in our essential oil soaps so that people with allergies to soy now have an option other than just the organic castile.
