We traveled to Scott Air Force Base (where my brother is currently stationed) to watch their air show. We had a blast.
The children loved it.
Jim, however, went a little crazy.
He was in charge of the camera* and taking pictures. As many of you know, Jim takes his responsibilities very seriously. He filled an 8 gigabyte card* and had to borrow another 2 gigabyte card* from my mom. By the end of the day (yes, just one day) he had taken over 5000 photos!
And guess who gets to sort them?
Of course.
I do.
So, much to my children’s glee, I have finished sorting through 5000+ photos and come up with the best of the best. Over the next few days I’ll be posting them, so be prepared!!
First thing we did, was set up our “camp site”. It involved chairs, and a picnic table, and blankets, and a hammock.
The hammock was a huge hit and involved constantly frolicking and falling out of it:
And then running to get back on it:
It was so much fun, even Uncle Adam had to get in on the action. (Of course, you can’t really see him, because the rest of the children are too busy climbing on him and trying to wrestle him out of the hammock*):
The children are now plotting how to get a hammock* at our house…
