We were having dinner at Boma’s restaurant one night. I was very excited about it because it was an African buffet style restaurant and I couldn’t wait to try some of the food that I’d heard about from our African friends.
Boma’s is located at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, so Indigo and Jade decided they wanted to fly there…
They stopped traffic they were so cute.
We arrived a bit early, so we got to look at some of the animals that were kept there. My favorite (that we saw) was the zebra:
The giraffes are usually my favorite, but they wouldn’t come close to us. But the children kept looking for them:
Indigo had a nice chat with the lady from Kenya. However, I think they discussed the nature of Indigo’s princess belly bag and her Tinker Bell wings more than they discussed African wild life.
Brett was a huge help (notice the holding of the girls’ blankets). See her belly bag? She kept everything in there. If anybody needed anything you were guaranteed to hear Brett chirp, “I’ve got it in my belly bag!”
I just had to throw this last photo in. That’s my Hewitt. Everyone else is concentrating on the animals or the guide. Not Hewitt. He’s such a happy goof ball!
Oh, and the food was incredible. So yummy. Some of my favorites were a couscous seafood salad, coconut curry seafood soup, Fu Fu, Falafels, Bobotie, and the squash soup was to die for. They had a bunch of desserts, but there was this one peanut butter dessert…. Ok, gotta stop thinking about it, my mouth is starting to water.
Wow, that looks like so much fun!!!
I just found your blog. Your family is precious! I want to take a field trip to meet you all and your goats. (I dream of goats, but my hubby says I don't really WANT goats. LOL)
I used to makes candles and melt and pour soap but was never brave enough to try the cold process stuff. Of course, I had friends in the business and bought their soaps.
If you ever consider sponsorship or advertising, please consider my blog. I'd be honored to represent you!
God Bless.
It was a LOT of fun!
Hmmmm… when I dream about goats, they're usually nightmares. LOL
