It is easy to eat healthy myself. But one of my goals is for the children to grow up and decide that they are going to maintain a healthy lifestyle. So I always try to balance things out so that healthy living isn’t a burden. I don’t deny them unhealthy food; I just limit it. I also try to make our healthy foods taste very good. I regularly make myself a green smoothie and Jade almost always wants some of it:
Then she has to share it.
Eating healthy doesn’t have to be something you force on your children. They can actually enjoy it. And it doesn’t always have to be messy. I’m pretty sure my face doesn’t look like that.
At least, I hope it doesn’t!
