Yesterday was the sunniest day I have seen in a LONG time! It was also a pretty warm day. So the girls played outside with the baby goats almost all day! They were getting a lot of vitamin D, exercise, and fun.
When I came out to take some pictures of the new baby goats, the girls saw me and demanded that I take pictures of them. My favorites are these, where Jade picked up Vivian:
And started losing control of her…
I love Jade’s disappointed face:
“Vivian, come here peese… Mean goat!”:
One of the kids’ (human and goat) favorite toys in the baby goat yard is the tunnel. It is a big piece of pipe, and they all like to climb on top and go through it. Here are the girls and Vivian (She is a favorite b/c she is so small):
Here is the baby goat pen that Emery made. It has a tarp for shade, hay bales, stumps, and “tunnels” to play on:
Jade looking to see if Vivian will go through:
And yes, that is Indigo’s favorite cowboy boot:
Emery inspecting his handiwork:
And look how long Jade’s body is!!:
This is Valley coming up close and personal to say goodbye:
After that, the sun started to go behind clouds. The wind, which had been there all day, was more noticeable. The kids (human and goat) started shivering. So I got the babies in their stall, and got the girls inside.
Yep! We had fun in the sun!
