New Toys

We were blessed to be invaded by family this Thanksgiving!

Since there were quite a few extra children, Jim decided that all of the cousins were going to need some indoor activities to keep them occupied when they weren’t outside.

He planned ahead and surprised everybody with a pool table and Foosball table!

Fortunately Poppy was here to help put everything together with the children.

I’ve never been a big Foosball fan, but I love pool as a tool for teaching geometry and angles.

Everyone had a lot of fun!   If they weren’t playing, they were hanging out on the beanbag chairs you can see in the background.

What do you do at Thanksgiving to keep the children from destroying your house?

  1. My family here in the UK doesn’t really celebrate Thanksgiving, aside from sending well wishes to our American friends. However, come Christmas, we are all in the shed with the table football. We are crammed in there, so much so that it would be easier to be in the house. But where would be the fun in that!?

    • Love it! That’s exactly it! It’s not about the convenience, it’s about the memories. And if it’s always been in the shed, then that’s where it should stay! LOL PJ
