Have You Ever Tried Goat Milk Soap?

When we began Goat Milk Stuff, we went to a lot of craft fairs and festivals to sell our soap.  As a homeschooling mom, I was thrilled because it gave the children a chance to meet and interact with a lot of people.  They were able to practice their speaking skills and really learned a lot.

As the business has grown, we’ve done fewer shows as most of our time is spent processing internet orders.  This means that my younger children didn’t get nearly as much time at shows as the older children.  But a few weeks ago, we participated at the Madison Chautauqua Festival and Indigo had a blast sharing our soap with customers.

  1. I really want to try goat stuff but I am weary about trying new skin care, such as soaps and lotions because I have had eczema my whole life and am very sensitive to many products. I even have to use baby laundry detergent. What would you suggest for skin like that? I also need to be careful on what I use on my one year old because she is also showing the early tell tale signs of having this difficult skin disease as well.

  3. I use cold process soap for myself but as a nurse I really do believe that there is no need to wash 2 months old and even older babies with soap! It is entirely unnecessary! newborns are washed with warm water its that simple

    • Well… it may be that simple. But I was much happier using a mild soap. I really preferred to wash all that spit up off of them and know that it wasn’t sitting there growing bacteria. 😉

  4. I received a Goat’s Milk Stuff gift pack for Christmas. Three different types of soap-I am in LOVE w/ this product! It is so creamy and makes my hands feel so soft. I even use it on my face which is sensitive. The smell is divine. I also got a honeysuckle body lotion stick which I just can’t stop smelling. I love honeysuckle!!!!! Great products. will restock when it’s all gone;)
