Giddy-up!

I never get over how kind people are to us.  Here’s a perfect example.

The guy that we get our wood from has horses. My children adore horses and never get a chance to ride. The other day he and his wife showed up at our place on horseback (they live about five miles away) to give the children rides in the front yard.

The ironic thing was that we’ve been in a drought for two months and it rained for 20 of the 45 minutes they were there!  But the children were so excited they didn’t even care that they were getting wet. LOL

As you can tell by Hewitt’s face, they were rather excited:

Jade was a bit uncertain at first:

But then she started enjoying it (I think she was confused I was letting her outside in the rain):

Brett was in heaven:

Especially since she got to take both her sisters for a ride:

I think Colter was probably most excited because he got to hold the reins:

Emery also got to hold the reins:

I take it back, I think Fletcher was more excited than Cole. Colter wants to be a zoo keeper when he grows up, but Fletcher wants to be a cowboy:

Greyden had fun but didn’t think it was fair that he didn’t get to hold the reins by himself (big brother envy):

But this was my favorite part – watching Indigo and Jade ride together – way too cute!:

Thanks so much for sharing your horses with us!!  We loved it!
