Disaster Girl

As the eighth child, Jade has a lot more freedom than her older siblings had at her age. Sometimes that’s good. Sometimes that’s bad.

Lately it’s been bad.

The other day I was cleaning up and discovered this:

Do you know what that is?

That is the entire contents of my pocketbook in a garbage can. And unfortunately it is the garbage can that Indigo threw up in.

Lovely.

Here’s all the stuff removed from the garbage and cleaned up:

There wasn’t much doubt that this was the imp behind this event:

Why wasn’t anyone watching her? Ummm… good question. Nobody took responsibility for dropping that ball (especially not me).

Oh well, she’ll grow up eventually. And then she’ll do even more damage like her older siblings.

  1. Her sweet innocent face at the end is the best! I had a friend whose daughter lost all of her credit cards, her drivers license and her military i.d.! She had to have those back and tore the house apart for two days looking for them. I got the bright idea to leave out something similar (we found an old Wal Mart gift card) and see what she did with it. Well, once she made sure we weren’t watching she took it over to the filing cabinet and shoved it between the side of the doors (so it would drop down underneath, not into the bottom drawer) and lo and behold here were all the other cards! It was pretty funny after the fact. *Smile*

I also wanted to add that I got my package of soaps!! Yay! They are wonderful! My husband even got excited about them (at least excited for a guy *grin*) and was looking at your website for the next ones to order! All the extras were great too! I struggle with dry cracked hands too so I hope to see improvement with these! Yay! Any suggestions for cutting the bar a little smaller so its easier for my kids to handle? Thank you guys so much!

  2. I’m so glad you like the soap! You can just use a kitchen knife to cut the soap into smaller pieces. We use a mitre box and putty knife to get a straight cut, but that’s not necessary. That’s one of the reasons we make a large bar, so people can cut it down if they wish. 🙂

And kids can be such little stinkers some times. LOL
