This is the best idea ever. We raise Lamancha Dairy goats and we are in our 3rd year (2nd breeding season) and this is going to help so much! Thank you!
I have a small herd with only two unrelated does and one buck starting out. The collars worked the first two years. However, this year the two does that came our of one of my matriarchs have her color and now so will their girls, so how will I be able to tell moms from grandmas? Is there a point where I need to change the base color? Then what if I keep a buckling? Should his base color stay brown or should I use his dams base color?
